Looking out my window...

is more snow! We got another storm last night.

I am hoping ...

that the snow melts quickly so that we can get the property ready for our mobile home.

I am thinking...

about Dan a lot these days and praying that he heals quickly and that this chemo pill works!

I am thankful...

for friends and family who love and support us. 

One of my favorite things... 

is having a day off and doing crafts.

I am creating...

Diamond Painting art! My friend introduced me to it and I'm just getting into it. Sid and I did one together recently and that was fun! 

I am listening to...

Loves Got a Way Andrew Ripp, and  No Fear Jon Reddick

I am wearing...

 plaid pajamas. It's early and I have the day off because of the storm. Dan and I are having a slow start to the day and just relaxing.

I am reading...

Another memoir called A Well-Trained Wife by Tia leaving, and I like it so far.

I am watching...

 the IT Crowd with Dan. I watched the series years ago with my kids and I still find it so funny! 

I am learning...

about the book of Genesis. Dan and I went to Sunday school at church for the first time and it was wonderful! I didn't realize how much I missed the Bible study setting. We are planning on going to a homegroup this week, too, which I'm excited about. 

In my kitchen...

I'm making sourdough bread! I used to make sourdough once a week for the longest time, but it's been a few years. I'm trying it in the bread machine and I hope it comes out good, because it's so much easier.

Looking out my window

there's a big snow storm! Everyone had the day off from work today, and we played board games.

I am thinking

about the conversation I had with my friend Angie-it was so good to talk to her!  I haven't talked to her in probably a year, but we always pick right up where we left off. She had cancer a couple years ago and got through it, she was so encouraging and empathetic. 

I am hoping 

that Dan does well on the chemo pills, he is taking the first dose tonight with dinner. I'm praying that he doesn't feel sick and he does well on them. 

 

I am thankful

for our new land! We signed for the property today-it's ours!!

is playing with my grandson!

this! I'm happy I'll have this journal to look back on.

People Pleaser by Jinger Dugger Vuolo, but I'm going slowly through it. It just doesn't apply to me anymore, but I like Jinger and wanted to buy it.

I am watching

Alaskan Bush People with Dan, and Severance with the kids. Well we all watch it on our own, then discuss it in the group chat. 

I am learning

to trust God day by day. It's a lifelong process. 

In my kitchen

Dan and I have enjoyed airfried French fries the last couple days, and it's been a treat.  Dan doesn't have to be as strict with his diet now that he's on the chemo pill.
