For Today: March 26, 2025
Looking out my window...
the sun is out, and everyday it gets warmer! Now that spring is here I crave being out in the sunshine.
I am hoping...
to find out soon if Dan's tumors have shrunk, or maybe even disappeared. He had a CT scan last week, and the doctor called yesterday, but he didn't have much news to share. He says we'll know more when Dan gets bloodwork done this Friday.
I am thinking...
about a Woman's Day that I'm attending this weekend at Scott and Erin's Church. I hope to make some new friends since I'll be living in Newport soon!
I am thankful...
that we will be living right behind Dan's son Scott , our Daughter-in-love Erin, and our grandkids! It's such a blessing that we will be able to help them when little Joseph is born in a couple months.
One of my favorite things...
is sharing my story of how I gave my life to Jesus, and what God has done in my life. This past week I spoke to the youth group at our church and shared with them how I originally started following God when I was sixteen. It reminded me how much I loved working with teenagers over the years.
I am creating...
more Diamond Paintings! It's my new hobby-I think I'm addicted!
I am listening to...
a podcast interview that Eric Metaxas did with Dog the Bounty hunter. He has an interesting story.
I am wearing...
light blue jeans and a T-shirt that says Grow in Grace.
I am reading...
Grow the Good Life: why a vegetable garden will make you happy, healthy, wealthy, and wise. I wonder if Dan and I will be able to have a garden this year? We'll have lots to do since we'll be moving, and getting settled in.
.
I am watching...
different movies in the evenings with Dan. But last night we watched yet another Phych episode. We are getting to the end of the series!
I am learning...
to pray more.
In my kitchen...
I made an awesome stirfry with chicken, mushrooms, broccoli, green pepper, and onions over rice.
A quote...
"God never hurries. There are no deadlines against which he must work. Only to know this is to quiet our spirits and relax our nerves." — A.W. Tozer
A moment from this week...
